Convenient location, helpful staff, clean rooms. the hotel was located near the main road, making it easy to access. the staff was helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. the rooms were clean and tidy, providing a comfortable place to sleep during our city break.
Sparse breakfast, limited dining options, noisy surroundings. the breakfast offered was minimal, with limited options available.

I liked nothing! Work is still continuing at the hotel which I found noisy in the early morning. However, the location is nice - but difficult to find (even with a GPS!). Hotel was not full, but they managed to locate me in a room (103) overlooking an area where they are currently storing building materials and machinery. All in all, the experience was a big disappointment for me.
Not a 4-star quality hotel. Although travelling alone, I upgraded from a single to a double room before I arrived. Glad I did, because even the Double Room was very small. Two groups of (back-packers?) at the time I was there. The hotel looked after them, but almost ignored me. Breakfast was from 8-11am. I came down for breakfast at 10:30am, on the second morning but there was no table prepared for me. I had to seat myself at one of the used tables (soiled table covers) vacated earlier by the two groups , and ask in reception for someone to serve me some coffee. A new entrance to the hotel is being constructed (and is blocked), but there was no sign to indicate where the "temporary" alternative entrance is. I wasted 40mins looking for it.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very pleasant and obliging, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They even offered me two different options when I wasn't happy with the first one given. Their excellent service made me feel like a valued guest.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when they found that our booking had not been received. They offered us another room when we were very unhappy with the first room allocated and also another alternative we were shown too. The views from both the first rooms shown were of a cliff face on the slope behind the hotel. We had asked in our booking for a room with a balcony and a view of the castle whiuch is what we ended up with due to the helpfulness of the staff.
It was too far from the city itself and much further away than we were led to believe. The breakfast offered was barely adequate with little choice and the dining area was part of a very large function room, so was open and impersonal. The room had a balcony but nothing to sit on and no table so we had to ask for a table and chairs to sit out. It is next to a main road and so quite noisy with the windows/patio doors open at the front of the hotel. The front rooms look out over what was a petrol station that is now derelict and an eyesore.

The reception staff spoke English, which was a huge relief for us. The hotel was also conveniently located, making it easy for us to explore the city.
Disliked aspects: Unfortunately, the language barrier became an issue when we tried to communicate with the staff in the bar and restaurant. The lack of English-speaking staff made it difficult for us to understand the menu and order our meals.

The staff were very pleasant and obliging and gave us two options when we were not happy with the first one offered.
The room we were first given was overlooking a derelect garage and a very noisy road. The meal we had there was not in the restaurant but in the bar and the breakfast, which was not good, was served in the same bar. This hotel is quite a way from the town and we were very disappointed with the location. We would not fecommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, making it easy to access. the staff at the reception are friendly and can speak English, which is helpful. the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathroom is well-maintained. the breakfast offered in the restaurant has a decent selection, although it could be improved.
The hotel is located quite far from the town, making it less ideal for those who want to explore the city.
